what's wrong with us?

Women usually marry their fathers, is it true? I like to share an interesting observation and point of view by one of the bloggers...

"Whatever trait their fathers may have, be it good or bad, women will usually or should seek these traits in their future husbands. If their fathers were kind and loving, they will seek these men for their husbands. If their father was strict, abusive and controlling, this is the kind of husbands/partners they will seek.
If they deviate from this rule, they will usually ended up with an unhappy or happy marriage.
Understand this: If an abused daughter ended up with a controlling husband, she will actually feel happier because the abusive husband she has is a familiar facet/fixture: she grew up with such a man.

There are three kinds of fathers:
1. Disciplinarian (controlling, strict, decisive)
2. Loving (negotiable, caring, or couldn't care less)
3. Abusive (physically or emotionally, to their mother or to themselves)

Apart from no. 3, women must seek men who are like their fathers. Only then they would find happiness in their marriage. Their husbands must be as witty, as loving, as controlling, as decisive, as cynic, as crazy, as intelligent, or as demurred and as timid as their own fathers.
This analysis may be incomplete or wrong in its presentation but the assertion is true.Forget every other dictum you have read on finding good life partners, find your father in the man you want to be your husband".

No one is at fault for choosing man who is like the father. What we should not do is... "comparing the husband with the father". Please, it is a big mistake, HUGE! I have my portion to share and lessons to learn.

I regret cos I dunno...
