two cents worth

Sometime, it takes years to build up the level of understanding which both parties can agree to. Most of the time, it's never built. Communication is vital. A hug, once in a while, helps us feel good. A praise does wonders to a girl's confidence streak (or is it vanity?) A simple cuddle in a bed can be quite an orgasm. Sex is not the ultimate thing that we want from the relationship (but it's an added benefit that can take away all the problems for just a little while).

I'm seeing a lot of marriages end up just after one/two years of marriage. External parties may never understand what these people go through but at least try to get the facts right before jumping into any conclusions. There are just so many factors that make people do what they do. Being the nature, humans tend to assume first, so I guess it all boils down to individuals to make their own judgments.

But I can tell you this, friends will always stick by you. That can be good or bad, depends on which side you want to take. There are also those who are always skeptical. Do not always think that what you get in the first stages of being in a relationship is what you are going to get in the next 5-10 years. You are responsible for your own happiness. You are the one who decides what your life is going to be. Therefore, the risk is yours alone.
