sleepless night for F1 - montreal
It's past mid-night. Erja already asleep and I'm sitting in front of the TV waiting for the F1 Canadian Grand Prix. The time different is a bit odd, but here I am anxiously waiting to watch Kimi Raikkonen in action. It will be another interesting race, with Button at the pole position, followed by Schumie and Alonso. Kimi is on 8th and will start at the row four together with Villeneuve.
My guess is Kimi will be running on heavy fuel loads and let's see what kind of pit-stop strategy for the rest of the teams. Of course, we will only know what respective fuel loads everyone was running once the race gets underway just in few minutes. Normally, the team strategies remain closely guarded secrets until the first round of pits stops.
So, who is really the quickest? It’s hard to say, but I expect the McLarens (Kimi) and Renaults (Alonso) to be very strong, assuming they can get past Button and Schumie on the front row of the grid.
Rev the engines!
