the meaning of the Holy Quran
Today is my first day in office, after the longest 2 weeks away from office. Not, that I missed my work that much, though. I need to sort out few administrative matters before my short trip to Bintulu tomorrow.
I received a big brown envelope from Kak Nazimah. And I thought it is just a random junk mails which re-direct to me from my previous office, but it was a very thoughtful gift from her. It was not even my birthday to begin with. She gave me a book entitled " The Meaning of The Holy Quran" by 'Abdullah Yusuf 'Ali.
She wrote;
Specially for Jamie,
Cukuplah kematian sebagai penasihatku, keyakinan sebagai kekayaanku, ibadah sebagai kesibukanku.
Semoga kita sentiasa sibuk dengan ibadah sebelum maut datang menyapa.
